Vision, Mission, Who We Are

Vision

As the community of choice, provide the best environment, recreation, and quality of life for our members.

Mission

Our mission is to preserve and enhance Heritage Palms as an active adult community in a country club setting. This will be accomplished through maintenance of a high quality of life, effective management of finances and facilities, enforcement of the rules and covenants, and promotion of community involvement in a well maintained, safe and neighborly environment for the common benefit and enjoyment of all homeowners.

Who We Are

Community

Heritage Palms is the Coachella Valley’s premier 55+ active adult community. Located in Indio, California, home to festivals and concerts and surrounded by mountains and blue skies, residents enjoy a lifestyle supported by extensive amenities which include golf, tennis, pickleball, and indoor and outdoor pools. The 20,000 square foot clubhouse houses a beautiful ballroom, grille room and bar, library, craft room, card rooms, and billiard room. Adjacent buildings provide a fitness center, dance rehearsal room, the Heritage Room, which hosts meetings, groups, and small gatherings, and administrative and maintenance facilities.

Homes

Heritage Palms is a master planned, gated community of 1004 single family, one-story homes located south of Interstate 10 at the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Jefferson Street. Original construction, under the guidance of US Homes, began in 1996. Lennar later completed the community with total build out in 2006.

Homeowners Association

Heritage Palms Homeowners Association is managed by a five-member Board of Directors elected at large from its members. An Association General Manager oversees the nearly one hundred support personnel that make our community run smoothly and maintain its assets. Volunteer committees, ranging from Cultural and Social to Security and Emergency Preparedness, provide support to the Board of Directors and the membership. By-laws and CC&Rs govern the community, and the community maintains a strong financial standing through its careful management and budgeting philosophies.

Living at Heritage Palms

A busy lifestyle is encouraged through a wide variety of clubs, which include golf clubs, card groups, book clubs, bike club, needlework, Mahjongg, and a garden club. The Performing Arts Club presents a Variety Show each year. The Social Committee schedules weekly live entertainment plus sponsors parties and other social events throughout the year. The Cultural Committee provides concerts, speakers, and trips in a wide variety of formats.

Golf

The greater Coachella Valley is recognized for its world-renowned golf and recreational facilities, and Heritage Palms boasts one of the most highly rated golf courses in the area. An extensive practice area includes two putting greens, a driving range, and a chipping area. Golf pros are available for lessons. Golfers can opt to purchase season passes (Annual golf passes for 2023-2024 are $5200 per individual), coupon books, or pay-as-you-go. Opportunities to play are enhanced by membership in the Men’s and Women’s Golf Groups, the Niners Clubs, the Nine and Dine Couples Club, the Putters Club, and various small groups organized by members.
